You must register for CSP Today Sevilla to be eligible to attend the visits. Each site visit has an extra cost of €200, spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Palma del Río II by Acciona Energy: A Real CSP Gem
Date: Monday 12th November 2012, Starting Time: 9:00 am

With 50MW, it is the second CSP plant built by Acciona Energy in the province of Córdoba, with parabolic trough technology in a solar field surface area of 135 hectares.

Don’t miss the exclusive opportunity of experiencing the 76 kilometres length of the troughs and a total number of mirrors of 190,080 that started operations in July 2011 with an equivalent consumption of 35,000 households.

Gemasolar Installation by Torresol Energy: A true CSP milestone
Date: Thursday 15th November 2012, Starting Time: 9:00 am

With 19.9MW, it is the world's first commercial CSP plant with central tower technology, molten salt receiver, 15 hours thermal storage and working temperatures above 500ºC.

Don’t miss the chance to experience the striking solar field that stretches over 195 hectares, equipped with 2,650 heliostats. See the magnificent tower and the whole system that already supplies electricity through the grid of leading utility Endesa.
