Visitas a plantas

Este año, como parte de la cumbre, ofreceremos a los asistentes la oportunidad de visitar plantas termoeléctricas en operación. Para participar en dichas visitas es imprescindible asistir a la cumbre.

Estamos trabajando en estos momentos para ultimar los detalles y muy pronto te añadiremos información sobre las visitas que hemos conseguido confirmar. Las visitas se realizarán los días 10 y 13 de Noviembre (un día antes y después de la conferencia)

TRIP I - Tuesday 10th of Nov - Plataforma Solar de Almeria

Martes 10 de Noviembre –Plataforma Solar Almería

La provincia de Almería en el sudeste de España, es la ubicación de la Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA).

En este paraje desértico, toda la fuerza del sol Andaluz ha sido explotada desde 1980 para el ensayo y optimización de una variedad de tecnologías solares de altas temperaturas bajo condiciones reales.

Estas instalaciones son el mayor centro de pruebas en Europa de solar termoeléctrica, y el líder mundial en su variedad.

En la actualidad, la PSA tiene:

• Torre de planta de energía solar CESA-1, 300 helióstatos con 40 m² cada una, 7 MWth, 83 m de altura, 4 niveles de prueba
• Torre solar Planta de Poder PPB, 92 helióstatos de 40 m² cada una, 2,7 MWth, 43 m de altura, 2 niveles de prueba
• DISS Loop: generación directa de vapor, a 500 m LS-3-Colector, 2,5 MWth, 100 barras de vapor
• Colector parabólico de prueba sobre el terreno: Eurotrough Colector (75 m) y LS3-colector (50 m)
• Parabólico ACUREX campo (2700 m², 1,3 MWth parabólico Sector, a 500 m)
• Parabólico campo MAN
• Horno solar
• 6 instalaciones EuroDish
• Instalaciones Solares para pruebas química de desintoxicación de agua
• Instalación de desalinización

En este viaje usted podrá visitar la PSA, y todas sus instalaciones de pruebas , será guiado por el personal de PSA en un recorrido en el que le comentarán acerca de sus anteriores y actuales desarrollos e investigaciones de grupos de trabajo siempre abiertos a colaborar

In this trip you will be able to visit the PSA and all its test facilities and you will be guided by PSA staff will tell you about their past and current R&D task forces open to collaboration.

Duration of the whole trip: All day
Pick up/Drop off: Will be adjacent to the NH Central Convenciones, the Hotel where the event will take place
When? The trip will take place on Tuesday Nov 10th (pre conference)
Bus Journey: Over 4 hours in length per journey departing from Sevilla very early on Tuesday 10th
Coffee breaks: We will have two per journey
Lunch: Before we leave we will provide you with some snacks and we will stop in the journey for a sit down lunch. You should take water and any extra food that you would like with you.

TRIP II - Thursday 13th of Nov - AndaSol I & II

Andasol I & II are a scenic bus ride away in a different province in Granada, but still in the Andalusian region. The ride will pass quickly as our route will take us through some of the most beautiful landscapes Spain has to offer and that many tourists pay good money to see!

The Andasol solar power station is Europe’s first commercial parabolic trough solar thermal power plant. Andasol I went online in November 2008 and Andasol II and III are currently under construction. We will visit the plants so that you can see for yourself the pioneering PT solar field and also the record breaking molten salt tanks, the first ever tanks that provide 8 hours thermal storage for a full size plant.

We will go for lunch before we depart back towards Sevilla - giving you another excellent opportunity to network in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and discuss what ideas you can take away from the trip.
